Chi Kung is an ancient Taoist system of spiritual advancement. The central idea in chi Kung practice is the control and manipulation of chi, a universal energy passing through all things. A typical exercise will involve body movement and breath control within a framework of mindfullness or concentration of intent.
Chi kung helps you maintain the harmonious flow of blood and energy in your body, and helps remove energy blockages and stagnation that might be present in the body, promoting general health by increasing your self-healing and self-recovery capabilities. It does this through the combination of body movement, breathing, and meditation.
Classes are $10 per class or $25 per month, monthly rate also includes Tai Chi classes.
